Ms. Katie's Background
I have a background as a Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom teacher for 6 years in Brooklyn public schools. I am a Teach for America NYC Early Childhood alum and hold two Master's degrees from Columbia University and Hunter College. I am dual certified as a NYS Early Childhood Special Education and General Education and have worked with children with a wide variety of needs, abilities, and skill levels. I am experienced, engaging, passionate, and dedicated toward ensuring your child's academic growth.

Personalized Lessons
All instruction is tailored to meet each child's unique learning needs with activities based on their interests and learning style. For children 4-8, I focus on the essential skills and concepts to boost your child’s academic performance. I offer instruction in Reading, Writing, Phonics/Phonological Awareness, and Math. For children 1-3 years old, I offer early childhood enrichment that includes developmentally appropriate play-based hands on learning.
